the distance between your iphone screen and your hand middle finger tip ( assumed centered and parallel to the screen )


frame your hand, it should be parallel to the screen and centered; when ready, tap the screen anywhere
( tip: hold your phone with your left hand with the thumb ready to tap the screen corner and frame your right hand as if an imaginary tape connected the phone camera to your middle finger tip. For best accuracy, keep your middle fingers together tightly, and keep your little finger and thumb away, or touching each other, alternatively )

then, gently touch the screen with your three middle fingers and let the AI calculate the distance.
if needed, pan and zoom to refine the result ( tip: for easier refining, first match one finger, then snap it as shown in the app preview, and use a second finger to complete )


firstly, make sure you followed the tips at point #2 and refine manually
if you need more precision you can print the "hand card" ( see the app screenshots )


the AI may fail to recognize your hand under bad light conditions, with complex backgrounds or abnormal hand geometry. In this case, ignore the AI result and match manually.
